SUMMARY OF THE MOVIE "DANGAL"

Dangal” is a 2016 Indian sports drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The movie tells the story of former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat (Aamir Khan), who is determined to train his daughters Geeta (Fatima Sana Shaikh) and Babita (Sanya Malhotra) to become world-class wrestlers, despite facing resistance from the patriarchal society and his own family.

Mahavir has always dreamed of winning a gold medal for his country in wrestling, but his dreams are shattered when he is forced to give up his sport due to financial constraints and societal pressure. Determined to achieve his dream through his daughters, he begins to train them in wrestling from a young age, challenging the stereotypes of a male-dominated sport and the expectations of society.

As the girls grow up, they face numerous challenges, including injuries, societal pressure, and their own self-doubt. However, with their father’s unwavering support and guidance, they become successful wrestlers and compete at the national level. Geeta, in particular, becomes the first Indian female wrestler to win a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games, breaking numerous records along the way.

Throughout the movie, Mahavir’s unyielding determination and discipline inspire his daughters to push themselves to their limits and break through the barriers of gender inequality. The movie is a powerful representation of the strength of the human spirit, perseverance, and the importance of equal opportunities.

Specifically, Mahavir’s character represents the resilience and determination of an individual who is willing to go to great lengths to achieve his dreams and challenge societal norms. Geeta and Babita’s characters represent the strength of women who refuse to be held back by gender stereotypes and who fight for their right to pursue their passions and dreams.

“Dangal” is a powerful and inspirational movie that celebrates the triumph of human spirit and highlights the importance of equal opportunities for all, regardless of gender or social status. It is a poignant reminder that with hard work, discipline, and determination, anything is possible. The end of the movie made me cry, everyone thought The India have lost the gold, but with just give seconds remaining God turned everything around, there is no time limitations with Jesus
